Creek Clean-up (MSRNA)
Saturday, April 22, 9:00am-1:00pm (Rain date: October 29, 10:00am-2:00pm)
Register at either of 2 locations on the event day: O’Byrne Park (Bijou & Corona) or North Shooks Run Park (on Franklin, north of Willamette).
Join your neighbors in cleaning trash from the neighborhood waterway from Uintah Street to Pikes Peak Avenue. Trash bags provided. You will need sturdy shoes or boots, gloves, water. We will provide trash bags. Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Thanks to Bin There Dump That for the roll-off trash service.

 Sustain-a-Fest 2017 (City of Colorado Springs Office of Sustainability)

Saturday, April 22, 11:00am – 4:00pm
A community Earth Day block party! El Paso Street will be closed off between Boulder and Willamette. Tour the Sustainacenter at 702-704 E. Boulder. Try out electric cars. Enjoy the sustainable demonstrations, live music (four bands: blues, reggae, bluegrass & covers), food trucks (The Local, Awaken, Potato Potato), and family fun activities.

Celebrate NeighborUp Week May 5-12, 2017

Join with Colorado Springs Council of Neighbors and Organizations to celebrate neighborhoods. Events all week–visit cscono.org for more information. Be sure to come to the Awards and Ice Cream Social Event on Wednesday, May 10, 5:30 – 6:30pm at the Pioneers Museum.
