Saturday, February 11–Another Walking Tour of Historic Shooks Run!

The Middle Shooks Run Neighborhood Association is holding its second self-guided tour of historic Shooks Run with a new route. Last year’s tour was highly successful!

This year’s tour is an easy, 1.5 mile loop that includes a stop at the historic Boulder Street Church. Sign up for the tour (tickets are free) at Event Brite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/walking-tour-of-historic-middle-shooks-run-neighborhood-tickets-516117851387

Once you have your ticket, start the tour between 1:00 and 2:00pm on Saturday, February 11 and get a printed guide with map, route and historic information. This year’s tour includes a stop at the historic Boulder Street Church.

Ever wonder why it’s called Middle Shooks Run? Shooks Run creek runs from roughly Constitution through the Patty Jewett Golf Course south to Fountain Creek. At the north end it’s in the Patty Jewett neighborhood and at the south end it’s in the Hillside neighborhood. In the middle, that’s us! Middle Shooks Run.
